We were walking down the boardwalk at our local county fair, when a woman looked at us and said, "Hey, I just won a bunny - do you want it?" Feeling sad for the homeless bunny we said "Yes". And that simple act of compassion started our obsession with bunnies and other small pets. Next up was our first Holland Lop - we named him Hansel because of the "trail" he used to leave in our kitchen. Before long we were home to bunnies, rats, and chinchillas. As discerning pet owners we were always very particular about providing our little ones the highest quality of food and treats.
After realizing a huge gap in the number of quality products offered to small pet industry, we started making our own. And the reception was amazing. For years, dogs and cats may have occupied the spotlight in every pet store. But our little guys deserve better, and they know it. That's why we're shifting attention to the Little Beasts of the world. We work to develop the most engaging treats and toys, and then let small pets tell us if they approve. Once they give us the thumbs up, we make more so their friends around the world can also enjoy unique textures and flavors that can't be found anywhere else.
